LookMind privacy policy

Effective 14 October 2026.

Who we are

LookMind is made by EB Technologies Inc. Framesay is our brand name. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean EB Technologies Inc. You can reach us at [email protected].

This policy covers LookMind for iPhone and LookMind for Mac, and the optional LookMind connector that lets an AI client such as Claude Desktop use LookMind for Mac. It describes what LookMind does today. If that changes, we will change this page. Our other apps and the website framesay.com have their own policies: see Framesay privacy.

What we collect

Nothing. LookMind has no sign-in and no account. It contains no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting of its own, and it does not connect to any server of ours or to any third-party service.

If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message, and use them only to answer you. If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics, under Apple's privacy policy.

We do not sell personal data.

What stays on your device

  • Photos you open. On iPhone you choose photos with the system photo picker, which gives LookMind only the photos you pick. On Mac you open files, or folders you grant.
  • Your edits. Edits and projects are kept in LookMind's own storage. On iPhone, saving an edit adds the finished photo to your library as a new photo, after you allow LookMind to add photos. On Mac, exports and their edit-recipe files go to the folder you choose. LookMind does not change or delete your original photos.
  • Auto. Where your device supports it, LookMind's Auto suggestions use Apple's on-device model. Your photo does not leave the device for this.
  • iCloud Photos. If your library is in iCloud Photos, Apple's Photos may download a full-size original when LookMind opens it. That is between your device and Apple.

Your AI assistant

LookMind has no AI account of its own. Connecting an AI assistant is optional.

  • On Mac, an AI client you install and sign in to yourself, such as Claude Desktop, connects to LookMind through a connection that stays on your Mac and is protected by a key only your Mac holds. It works only in folders you grant.
  • On iPhone, LookMind can pair with your Mac over your local network, through an encrypted connection, only while LookMind is open, so the assistant on your Mac can work on photos you choose. Browsing your photo library from the Mac needs both your permission in iOS and a separate consent inside LookMind; that browsing is read-only.

When your assistant asks, LookMind gives it previews of the photo (on iPhone, at most 2048 pixels), the edit settings, measurements of the image and details of the photo. Your AI client sends what it receives to its provider, under that provider's terms and privacy policy. LookMind itself sends nothing to an AI provider.

Permissions LookMind asks for

  • Add photos (iPhone): only when you save a copy of an edit.
  • Photo library (iPhone): only if you turn on optional library browsing for your Mac's assistant.
  • Local network (iPhone): only to connect to your paired Mac.

You can change these at any time in your device's Settings.

Who else handles your data

No one on our behalf. Apple distributes LookMind through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy, and the AI provider you choose handles what your assistant sends it, under theirs.

Children

LookMind is not directed to children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If LookMind starts to collect anything, we will update this page and the date at the top before it does.
