Who we are
RawLogic is made by EB Technologies Inc. Framesay is our brand name. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean EB Technologies Inc.
You can reach us at [email protected].
This policy covers the RawLogic Mac app, the RawLogic plug-in for Lightroom Classic, the RawLogic extension for Claude Desktop, and the website framesay.com. RawLogic is in a private alpha. This policy describes what the software does today. If that changes, we will change this page.
What stays on your Mac
RawLogic works inside your own Lightroom Classic catalog, on your Mac. Its working files, such as edit history, previews and backups, are kept on your Mac too. Your sign-in is kept in the macOS Keychain, and RawLogic does not store your password.
None of this is uploaded to us. Something reaches us only when you send it, as described in the next section.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address, how you sign in, and your access level. We use it to sign you in and to check that you are in the alpha.
- What you send us. Messages and screenshots you send in Help & Feedback, and any diagnostic information you choose to include. We use them to answer you and to fix and improve RawLogic.
- Alpha access requests. The email address and the answer you give in the form on our home page. We use them to decide who to invite. Sending the form does not create an account or add you to a mailing list.
- Download records. Which account downloaded which build, and when.
- Website visits. This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, the referring site, and the browser and country. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Server logs. Like most web services, our hosting provider records requests to our servers, including the IP address they came from.
RawLogic contacts our servers only when you or your agent use it. Diagnostic information is filtered to leave out file names, paths, locations and the text in your photo metadata.
What we do not collect
- Your photos, RAW files and catalog, unless you attach a picture to a message yourself.
- Your conversation with your AI client.
- Advertising or tracking data. We do not follow you across websites, and the RawLogic app contains no analytics.
- Payment details. RawLogic is free during the alpha.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your AI client
RawLogic takes requests from an AI client that you install and sign in to yourself, such as Claude Desktop. When your agent asks, RawLogic gives it previews of your photos, their settings and details Lightroom holds about them. Your AI client sends what it receives to its provider, under that provider's terms and privacy policy. RawLogic itself sends nothing to an AI provider.
Who else handles your data
We use these companies to run RawLogic:
- Google, for our servers, storage, sign-in and the fonts on this website.
- Cloudflare, to host this website and count visits to it.
- Anthropic. We use an AI assistant, Claude, when we read and answer what you send us.
Your data is stored and handled in the United States, and may be handled in other countries where these companies operate. We may also disclose data when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Files attached to messages are deleted after 90 days. We keep the rest until you ask us to delete it.
How we protect it
The app and this website talk to our servers over encrypted connections, and what you send us is kept in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that ours is.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time. To get a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have your account and what you sent us deleted, write to [email protected] from the email address on your account. Deleting your account ends your access to the alpha.
Children
RawLogic is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to have an account.
Changes to this policy
RawLogic is alpha software and it will change. When what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
